Cuba

Being the largest of the Caribbean Islands Cuba has over 300 of the finest beaches with crystal clear water. Not only tourists enjoy these superb beaches, Cubans also like to spend a weekend on the beach!

Cuba's unique and joyful culture derives its roots from Caribbean, African, and Spanish traditions.

You will find wonderful colonial churches, palaces and museums; formidable Spanish castles; intriguing revolutionary monuments; the Gran Teatro de la Habana; sizzling 1950s style night-clubs; colorful craft markets and second hand book markets.

La Habana

San Cristobal de La Habana (the historical name of Havana) was founded in 1519 as a natural harbor.

It is still the Cuban business center and the most beautiful and interesting former Spanish colonial complex in the Americas. The old town centre has been declared world's cultural inheritance by UNESCO.

Cuba & La Habana

You will be overwhelmed by the wealth of historical monuments, the boisterous friendliness and hospitality of the Cuban people, the beautiful countryside and the rich Caribbean cuisine.

Only one and a half hours away from Havana lies the nature park Varadero, which is famous for its beaches and its crystal blue water. Also a perfect destination for a day trip is the national park Zapata, and cities from the colonial times such as Trinidad and Cienfuegos. Pinar del Rio, Cuba's richest tobacco plantation, is not only famous for its cigars but also for its picturesque towns.

After a long and hard day you may recuperate in one of the street cafés or restaurants with the famous Cuban drink: Cuba Libre, or check out Ernest Hemingway's favorite bars: Bodeguita del Medio and Floridita and taste his much loved Mojito and Daiquiri cocktails.

By night the city is filled with typical Caribbean music such as Cuban Salsa. Wherever you are you will get automatically involved in the abundant nightlife. Exuberant nightclubs and discotheques offer entertainment all night long.

We are pleased to offer you a totally unique experience and the perfect opportunity to become familiarized with Cuban society and culture, it really is easy to make contacts, ask questions and organize arrangements.

Next to the cathedral you will find the Palacio de los Marquesas de Aguas Claras built in 1760.

Check out the best museums: the Museo de la Ciudad, the Museo de Arte Colonial, and the Museo Casa Natal de José Martí.

The most famous restaurants of La Habana are the Floridita and the Bodeguita de Medio.
